Commentary by an Expert:

This is a haiku with a spring season word.

At first glance, the word “liar” sounds like an accusation.

However, the image that springs from the expression “her shoulders are shaking” is that of her laughing.

Cherry blossom petals are gently and carefully placed on her shoulder, which is swaying slightly.

It is a nice phrase that clearly conveys how the two of them are enjoying their small laughter under the cherry blossoms in full bloom, and how it softens the atmosphere between them.

これは春の季語の入った俳句ですね。

うそつき、というところから、一見責めているような言葉にも聞こえます。

しかし、肩が揺れている、という表現から湧き出るイメージは、彼女の笑っている姿。

小さく揺れるその肩に、そっと丁寧に乗る桜の花びら。

桜が咲き誇る満開の樹の下で、ささやかなその笑い声が、二人の間の空気を和やかにしてくれている様子がありありと伝わる、良い句ですね。
